Easter or the start....

Okay these iphone photos will have to tide you over until I can more up... But wow a lot has happened as you will see!

Many First... or Growth Spurts!

Super Moira has managed to finally be potty trained. It has been an undertaking (pun intended) to say the least. Now she is diaper free except for overnight. Which is great since the preschool was expecting her to be. She had a unique way of transitioning herself. After an accident or two she decided she wanted to wear her pull-up outside of her underwear, just in case. I am sure this was amusing to the crowd at the park when in a mini heat wave she whipped off her pants to splash around in the watery sand! She is also quite the climber, sending fear & anxiety down her parents' spines. Another interesting first was her first home shower.... sill fine-tuning that one. Note the floatie. Oh she has also become an expert tricycle rider!

Cuz Keelee

We just had a great visit with Moira's older cousin David Keelan Smith. He was out visiting from Houston before he enters the Navy (up near Chicago). Of course they bonded immediately, the goofiness gene helps a bit!

Cuteness At The Zoo

We have joined a lot of places to fill up the time with activities to keep her busy. We are members of the zoo, Academy of Sciences & the Discovery Museum. All those coupled with the Golden Gate Park make a wide selection for her to chose from each day.

Lil Swimmer

Moira loves her activities one favorite is swimming... It took awhile to understand but she is making progress. She can go under for a bit but mostly likes to jump in play with various pool toys & slide down the whale slide.

Okay....Here begins the attempt to re-connect

Rough Road can really mean a great deal to all right now, whether it is financial, psychological, emotional, or even physical. We all know the economy is factoring to all of our lives. We all have a lot on our minds because of it. But it is important to remember the big picture. Since Moira has aged out of daycare (at the end of December), Chris & Anne have had to home care Moira until she begins preschool in June. Our neighbors across the street, who Moira became quite the friends with have moved away to North Carolina which has made it lonely around here. It was sad to see them go and we all miss them a great deal. We wish them the best of luck and Moira still talks about Elsie & Finn as though she will see them peeking out the window...
