Saturday before the evacuation!

The day before our flight, Mayor Ray Nagin had called for a mandatory evacuation. All we could is sit tight because there was no other available flights. We drove uptown in search of food at the local Whole Foods. They were having a 2 for 1 perishable sale. It was crazy. Places were boarded up and streets were empty.
