Now we are all back in SF where the weather is cooler, the traffic is worse and our schedule is creeping slowly back to normal until the next adventure! Good thing that every day is a new one!
Grandma Schlatter made Moira a cute Hippo floor blanket. She could not wait for her to finish it! Now that it is back we'll ask her where's the hippo and she'll look for it and plop down and fake night-night! Mo also got her first pair of hard soled shoes too. She absolutely loves them. And so do the other girls at the daycare center. The director, Pam, said they all wanted to try them on! Jimmy Cho watch out!
We seemed to have driven around quite a bit with the AC blasting cool air at us as we ran our errands in Monroe. Moira even helped clean up after having grandma's buddies over so she could charm them. Grandpa quietly disappeared as wine was consumed (by the legally capable) and chocolate was gobbled up. Naps all around please.
See the amazingly cute 15 month old toddle decimate ears of corn... The headlines should read that way. It is a whole lotta fun to watch her go to town on those unsuspecting little nibblets!
Grandma & Pa Schlatter were so prepared for the visit of their granddaughter they borrowed a crib from their church a highchair from their friend and even bought her a water park and a canopy to play out in the hot Louisiana sun! Moira was so excited...wake up grandma I want to play!
The family packed it all up and headed down south for a little heat with a side of R & R! Moira was able to indulge in her newest crave finding DOGGIES and trying to pet them!
It was wonderful that cousin Alex could finally meet Moira. Even if it was too brief! Looks like they get along great! It was also a treat to meet his beautiful other half! Good going Alex! We hope to see more of both of you soon!
We can even begin to describe how cute this jacket is... so here is the photo proof. It was the best hand me down ever. Any doubters see Anne! Moira, we believe, knows how cute she looks in it because she keeps pulling it out of her drawer!
San Francisco's Golden Gate Park was the first park in the US to have a "playground" for children. So when they spent a ton of cash to renovate the park... we couldnt help but take a sneak peak before it opened. Oh what fun.
