Gift Gonzo!

Well Mo's first Xmas has come and gone. Intrigued by the lights on the tree and kept up late by all the relatives who needed their Moira fix we have made it through the season. Mo cleaned up in the gift department. If they have a fashion show with the infants at daycare Mo will definitely give them a run for their money! Mo received many wonderful toys, books and clothes. Mom & dad are even going to break down and buy a highchair! And to all those asking yes she still has red hair & blue eyes!

Baby Food!

Moira is attempting to broaden her horizons... culinaraly (sp?) that is... Carrots, sweet potatoes, winter squash, apples, peas and even mashed avacado! But her favorite thus far... BANANAS! Although she still only gets down a tablespoon or less her appetite to play... with the food that is... is growing. Hopefully she'll ingest more soon!

Moira's First Baby Party Invite!

Moira and company attended Big Nate's first birthday party. Even though her mom forgot to bring the address, they finally made it in time for all the good stuff! Cake & presents! Suzanne made a mouth watering cake which everyone including Nate (and except Mo) had a taste. Yummy! A great time was had by all even when a transformer blew up next to the house! All was well as Nate demonstrated his fine crawling skills! Mo can't wait!

We can snuggle indefinitely! Mo's capacity of love & affection is amazing! We learn from her every day, how lucky we are and how truly amazing just a smile can make you feel!

Farewell

The Gaede's were lucky to get some quality time with grandma Catherine over Thanksgiving. All the hospitality & love was heartfelt and earnest. We were saddened to hear of her passing shortly after our visit and would have loved to have seen her at least one more time. But it is wonderful to know that somewhere she's clapping her hands and making Moira dance and watching her grow! Here's a photo of David, Mike, Sara, Jane & Judi all sporting one of Catherine's wigs! Enjoy life, we'll miss you grandma!
